Ian Heard is the owner of Heard Construction, proudly serving the greater Yuba City region with high-quality excavation and sitework. Ian got his start in the trades in 1997, working on ranches and learning the ropes of concrete, grading, and heavy equipment operation firsthand. By 2004, he had earned his contractor’s license and began building a reputation for precision, reliability, and no-nonsense work ethic across Northern California.

With deep roots in rural life and hands-on experience in everything from excavation to fabrication, Ian brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to every jobsite. His knowledge isn’t just technical—it’s lived, tested, and proven over decades in the field.
